During the day, Stephen is a Day Centre Officer, looking after people with Learning Difficulties.
Stephen joined the choir in February 1996 after hearing about the choir from another choir member.
His favourite piece of Male Voice Choir music is “What would I do without my music”, which seems to be quite a favourite with a lot of choristers.
Outside of choir, Stephen likes listening to Classical music, Gardening, Cycling and coastal visits.
To date, Stephen’s most memorable performance was singing at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, and the highlight of his time with the choir was singing his first solo at West Bromwich Town Hall.
Stephen is still working on a ‘Claim to Fame’, but has helped pull an aeroplane for charity!
He likes the friendship found within the choir and also finds that singing helps relieve a lot of tension, helps him relax and makes him feel fresh!
